“ Our high school class has met here a few times and really enjoyed our visit. We were allowed to bring our own dessert. There is no plate charge. It was a Christmas party and we had a private area with lots of room for our gifts and dessert. The area was private, though still a part of the eating area. When reservations were made each time, someone would get back to us in a timely manner. And once I had to change the date the manager was so nice about the change. Will probably go back again. I always leave Monte Cellas with a good feeling. ”

“ **Update** I am pleased to say that this Monte Cello's location is continuing to pump out great Italian dishes and friendly service. During our most recent visit, my Mom had the spaghetti and meatballs and I had the roasted red pepper soup and the baked ziti with meat sauce. All delicious! -- Classic, old-school Italian Restaurant that's perfect for dining with family, friends and kids. Long standing establishment with a tried and true menu. All of the classic Italian specialties, pizza and hoagies are available. I have never had a bad meal here and I've been here probably ten times! On my most recent visit we had the fried zucchini appetizer, stuffed pepper soup and the grilled chicken pasta. Everything was delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is chill and cozy here and the staff are always wonderful. ”
“ I like a lot of pizza places in this area, but my absolute favorite pizza can be found at Monte Cellos. It's their Chicago Deep Dish with some modifications. Their deep dish doesn't come with sauce unless you ask. Ask for normal sauce, but keep the tomatoes on top. Best of both worlds. For toppings, I always get spinach and double ham. It's such a great combination with the chunks of tomatoes and cheesy goodness. While this is hands down my favorite pizza, if you really want an authentic Chicago Deep Dish, this isn't it. This is really just a glorified pan pizza. A real deep dish pizza would take an hour to bake, this takes 20 minutes. To me, though, it is the perfect pan pizza. Try it! ”

With a newborn and a 4 year old and a 6 year old, meals can be super chaotic. Having our waitress recognize that and accommodate us was such a blessing. “ I recently had a surprise retirement party for my brother and sister in law. Gigi and Vic provided outstanding service. They were very attentive to everybody around. Without the two of them and my guest this could not of worked out. Gigi and Vic guided and helped me the whole way. The food was sooo delicious, hats off to the chef.
